Antique French Watercolour Flower Study

Watercolour on paper depicting Ranunculus and a Dahlia, signed Serpe (?) and dated 1862, in good 19th century grain-painted frame which compliments the tonality of the paper and the flowers, French.  Faint water marks, possibly done while painting, as can be seen in the last photo.
