Antique Calligraphy exercise by John Webb 1861

“Litigious dispositions are commonly despised” written repeatedly in sepia ink on paper, signed and dated at the bottom, John Webb January 28th, 1861, in 19th century grain painted frame.  Exercises such as this one were intended to improve a student's handwriting along with influencing their values.
