Long Indonesian Ikat Weaving

Resist-dyed ikat textile hand woven from abaca fibre, mysteriously woven in a continuous circular band so there are four sets of stylized human figures (see third photo),  possibly from Sumba, an island in Indonesia where ikat weaving is a significant cultural tradition
