Large Chess Set and Board

Fine old hand turned and carved wooden chess set, the dark chess pieces being made from Coromandel wood with its distinctive pattern of deep black and hazel brown stripes.  The box has five circular pieces of agate attached to the lid.  The chess pieces being a desirable  large size.  Edwardian period, English
