Vintage watercolour on paper depicting the Great Buddhist Chaitya at Karli. This hall of worship was developed between 2nd century B.C. and 5th century A.D. and is the largest rock-cut cave in India. It is in the Poona district of Maharashtra, India. Probably painted by an English traveller, circa 1880-1920 (?)
