Vase of flowers showing Post-Impressionist influence, paint applied to Swedish hardboard using the impasto technique which gives the painting a thick textural surface. Impasto on hardboard was at its height of popularity in the post-war period of 1940-1960 in Sweden. Unframed with slight wear to the lower left corner as can be seen in the last photo
