Vintage Tibetan Mala Prayer Bead Necklace

Long necklace composed of 108 beads (a significant number), mala prayer beads are traditionally used in Hinduism and Buddhism to count mantras (prayers) in meditation. The beads are made from bone (possibly yak) and inlaid with materials like coral, turquoise, and brass. strung on heavy cord, with red cord attachment decorated with white metal beads tied on to the necklace. Can fit over most heads.
