Small English Stamp Collage of a Woman in Paul Poiret Hobble Dress 1910

Stamp collage with pen and ink details depicting a woman wearing a "hobble dress" which became the height of fashion when it was designed by couturier Parisien Paul Poiret circa 1910.  This dress broke away from the Victorian style and is typical of the red and green colours worn by the suffragettes.  It was considered shocking by some and was a short lived fashion because it was restrictive for movement. circa 1910, English
