Yoruba Mask

Carved wooden Gelede mask from the Yoruba people of Nigeria.  The Gelede “mask” is more accurately a headdress, since it rests on top of the head and the wearer’s face is covered by a cloth veil.  35cm long x 20cm wide by 11cm  deep
